Whether a booking can be cancelled, and what comes back to you, depends on the fare or rate you chose. This page explains how it works on TRIP FINDY and how to ask.
Flights
- Before the ticket is issued — a fare on hold can be cancelled free of charge from your account until the time limit shown on the booking.
- After the ticket is issued — the airline's fare rules apply. The rules are shown on every fare before you book: refundable, refundable with a fee, or non-refundable. Taxes the airline did not collect are usually refunded even on a non-refundable fare.
- Changes — dates and times can be changed on fares that allow it, for the airline's change fee plus any difference in fare.
Hotels
Every rate shows its cancellation terms before you book: free cancellation until a stated date and time, or non-refundable. Cancel from your account before the deadline and the payment is refunded in full.
Transfers and eSIMs
A transfer can be cancelled free of charge until the notice period shown on the booking. An eSIM cannot be refunded once it has been installed on a device.
How to cancel
Sign in, open the booking under My bookings and use Cancel, or contact us with the booking reference. We confirm the amount that will come back before anything is cancelled.
When you get your money
We refund to the payment method you paid with as soon as the airline or hotel releases the money to us — for most airlines within 7 to 21 days of the cancellation, for hotels usually within 5 working days. Your bank or wallet provider may take a few more days to show it. Any service fee we charge for a cancellation is shown before you confirm.
