This policy explains what TRIP FINDY collects when you use this site, why, and what you can ask of us.
What we collect
- Booking details — traveller names, dates of birth, gender, passport numbers where a route needs them, and your contact e-mail and phone. Without these no ticket can be issued.
- Payment — payment is taken by the payment provider you choose (for example bKash or a card processor). We receive a confirmation and a transaction reference, never your card number or wallet PIN.
- Account — the e-mail address you sign in with and the bookings made under it.
- Technical — the IP address and browser of each visit, kept in short-lived logs for security and to keep the site working.
Why we use it
To make and manage your bookings, which means passing traveller details to the airline or hotel you booked and to the systems that issue tickets; to send you your documents and any schedule changes; to answer your requests; to prevent fraud; and, if you asked for them, to send offers — which you can stop at any time from the link in the e-mail.
Who receives it
The airline or hotel you booked and their booking systems, the payment provider you paid with, and the services that send our e-mail. Airlines pass passenger data to border authorities as the law of each country requires. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, typically seven years. Logs are kept for a few weeks. An account with no bookings can be deleted on request at any time.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need to keep it. Write to us at support@tripfindy.com and we will answer within thirty days.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. Passport numbers and payment references are stored encrypted, and only the people who need them to serve your booking can see them.
